Fine Arts
Fine arts painting is my original passion and initial area of concentration while in college. Particularly abstract work. After many years some of my work was featured in Art Suite gallery in Piermont NY in early March of this year however the show ended after only one short week due to COVID. Having my work shown even very briefly has re-sparked my interest in getting my work out there in the coming months/years. It’s a huge departure from the very structured ‘art’ we create in corporate interiors. Probably why I still have interest as it’s true clean slate and a  release from having to abide the rules and principals that we apply in architecture and interiors.

“Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightening to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself.”
