“The client’s design vision of a bright and airy workspace was realized through a minimal palette of light, cool, and muted colors that serve as a backdrop to beautifully curated artwork placed throughout the workspace.”
– Jenifer Colon, Design Director
Starting with the Grand Reception, the architectural design is clean and open. The triangular white reception desk is flanked by walls made of stone and glass that surround conference rooms on either side.
The curvature of the glass around the conference rooms offsets the overall core-and-shell design of the building, which is straight and square.
The taupe marble with a home finish provides a texture and warmth to a space that is otherwise elegantly sparse with white, highly reflective walls and other surfaces.
A NEWMAT Stretch Ceiling System contains a band that looks like a skylight, further tying in the reception area with the two conference rooms. The ceiling has LED lights above a diffuser for softer lighting, and controls acoustic vibration.
Another example of a conferencing area. Conference rooms have the capability of heating food on their counter-tops.
On the east side, opposite the conference areas, open-plan 120-degree workstations follow a white color palette in their furniture and even their computers.
Like the conference walls, the desks are designed with curved and angular elements to bring about a more organic look and feel in a building that has a regimented structure.
Delicate light fixtures and curated artwork provide visual accents and pops of color against a backdrop of mostly white, pale gray, and icy blue furniture, finishes, surfaces, and carpet.
The north and south of the workplace contains private offices.
