Elaine Thompson, NCIDQ
Associate, Team Leader

Team Leader Elaine Thompson helps develop and oversee design and construction processes while managing the overall team. Elaine serves as a regular client contact and collaborates with outside multi-disciplinary consultants to coordinate a comprehensive set of construction documents. She also reviews all construction documents and shop drawings, and conducts regular site visits, where she works with contractors to ensure that each stage of construction complies with drawings and specifications.

With about 20 years of experience specializing in commercial and corporate interiors, including eight years at TMA, Elaine can take a project from start to finish with a sophisticated knowledge of the big picture down to the small details. She has an extensive architectural background with financial firms and institutions, servicing such high-profile clients as JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and UBS. While Elaine works with the design team and can prepare a complete set of architectural drawings, she is also extremely active and hands-on on the project site, overseeing all logistics and analyzing different aspects of the build-out to predict and resolve situations before they become problematic. She supervises the smooth progression of the built environment and ensures it gets done to a top standard of quality.
